Driving north from Windhoek, our first stop was in Otjiwarongo for supermarket shopping. Water is the main item we need and we buy it in huge 5 litre containers and then use these to fill our water bottles. It's going to be HOT for the next couple of weeks so water is a priority.
But of course there were other important thirst-quenching purchases to be made too. 😊 We need to maintain balance in our lives! 🍷🍷🍷
The road from Windhoek towards the north is one of the few bitumen roads in Namibia. Some might say it's boring but for those who are observant, the desert scenery changes almost every 10 minutes and you are always on the lookout for animals.
Ohange Namibia Lodge
Our adventure has really begun! Overnight at Ohange Namibia Lodge in a gorgeous thatched cottage. Dinner by the waterhole with animals coming and going. And morning coffee on our balcony with springbok visiting. ❤️
