We're having an amazing time in Etosha National Park. In 4 days we had 19 lion sightings! Plus so many other animals. At this time of year (the end of the dry season), the animals need to walk to waterholes that still have water in them so they are much easier to locate. Having said that, there are still over 20 waterholes to be checked out! 🦁🐘🦓🦒🦏🦅
It's also been wonderful to catch up again with some of the fabulous NWR staff I've had the pleasure of getting to know. Especially Else and her husband Michael who I first met in 2017. Michael is the Etosha snake catcher and last year Sigrid and I managed to have some new and improved snake catching equipment sent to him to make his work easier and safer! 🐍🐍
